Jalan Sesame...

Assalamualikum warahmtullahi wabarakatuh....
First of all, please ignore the wrong form of language in the topic..:-)
It is actually Sesame Street.

When mentioning Sesame Street, we will spontaneously imagine those puppets with all kinds of characters.
Oscar, Grover, Ernie, Big Bird, and three characters I remembered most are Elmo, Cookie Monster and Count Dracula(The dracula that count numbers. Correct me if i'm wrong).

My mom said that when I was small boy, I loved to watch this show. Now, I realise that this show is very interesting and I would say that the approaches applied by this show really can attract children. Children loves those puppets in those days. Nowadays I'm not sure they still like or not. :-)
One more  thing, those people who produce this show know very well how to add new vocabularies and in the same time, create the interest to learn. :-)

Let's enjoy this video clip about Ernie and his R collections...

Suffixes thought: It is necessary to know the exact approaches to tackle the children's interest in teaching them.

Some classic Writing..

Assalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh...

It's Saturday yesterday, an off day= no lecture day. Due to my so called hardworking attitude, I let myself went to the UniSZA's library, accompanying someone. :-) I guess most of you guys can guess who is that person. Hehe.

While she busying herself with the materials she needed, I scrambled up to the second floor inside the magazine and archive sections. There are rows of tables and on one of the tables there, I found a thick book, which was actually a compilation of several same magazines in one volume. I forgot the title but what interesting to me is the letters there, it is in Jawi.

Whoa, these are definitely some old magazines. As I opened the magazines, page by page, and I read, one thing circled inside my head, how long these classic writing system will remain in this age of technology?
Especially in our younger generation's vocabulary..
Hmm..

How to write Jawi in your Microsoft Word..

Just being Numa numa iei..

Dragostea din tei

 Ma-ia-hii
Ma-ia-huu
Ma-ia-hoo
Ma-ia-ha ha
(x4)

Alo, salut, sunt eu, un haiduc,
Si te rog, iubirea mea, primeste fericirea.
Alo, alo, sunt eu Picasso,
Ti-am dat beep, si sunt voinic,
Dar sa stii nu-ti cer nimic.

(Refren)
Vrei sa pleci dar numa, numa iei,
Nu ma, nu ma iei,
Nu ma, numa, numa iei.
Chipul tau si dragostea din tei,
Mi-amintesc de ochii tai.
(x2)

Te sun, sa-ti spun, ce simt acum,
Alo, iubirea mea, sunt eu, fericirea.
Alo, alo, sunt iarasi eu, Picasso,
Ti-am dat beep, si sunt voinic,
Dar sa stii nu-ti cer nimic.

Book Voucher

Assalamulaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh..

How are you guys? :-) I hope all of you in a pink of health. :-)

As a legally university student, hehe, I've been given the book voucher. Thank you very much for the understanding of the needs of the students. For me, the RM 200 voucher is totally a gift.
Better than nothing. :-)
So, as referred to its name and function, I've bought several reading materials.
Here they are:

Why English books? :-)
Basically, I'm in the process of reading English books. So, a compilation of short stories like The True Singapore Ghost Stories is quite suitable for a start. :-)
There other three more voucher to go.Insyaallah, I'll spend them wisely. :-)

I hope all the lucky students who got the vouchers should use them in proper way. As for me, I'll try my best to utilize this gift.

That's all from me. Till then..
    Assalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh...

Suffixes thought: In this new modern age, books and written materials are still far more reliable as academic reference.. :-)
