Singing: For interest or fame?

Assalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh...
How are you guys? I hope all of us in a pink of health.

9 p.m just now, I have watched a singing competition. The final of it. Actually I kind of not interested in watching singing competition especially those were shown on television, but this one, is an exceptional.
Why?

Those participants are way good! Their voices, performances, attire, are way becoming like professional singers! From the start of this show, those peoples who are took part are ambitious to take part not because of the prize, but just fulfilling their interest to sing. I bet each and everyone of these participants were the people who just practising singing karaoke at their homes. Never thought of having the chance of showing their talent, I mean the real singing talent. And they that I'm referring are those who are 45 years old and above. Some of them already have grandchildren. The show that I'm babbling about is this:

I'm sorry to say that this singing competition is waaaay better than

this:

Hehehe. I bet everyone will get angry to me. Especially those who are fans to above second singing competition. :-)

Guys, don't sing solely for money. Sing as your interest, and sing passionately, then the money will come at you.
Seriously.

Any comments or critics, I accept them with a wide open mind. :-)

Sandarkan pada kenangan..

Jamal Abdillah & Siti Sarah (M Nasir)

Sandarkan Pada Kenangan

( JA: )
Kenangan manis kau dan aku
Takkan terhapus
Duri ranjau dalam bercinta
Lumrah dunia

( JA: )
Sayang menyayang
Cinta dikenang
Perasaan menjadi rindu

( 1 )
( SS: )
Ohhhh...
Lihatlah diriku yang kehilangan
Tanpa kasihmu sayang
Siapalah aku

( 2 )
( JA & SS: )
Sayang menyayang
Saling percaya
( JA: )
Punca kasih berpanjangan
( JA: / SS: )
Ohhh.... oh...

( 3 )
( JA: )
Mengapa kita harus bersengketa
( SS: )
Kerana fitnah dan salah sangka
( JA: )
Apa yang telah terjadi pada kenangan
( SS: )
Sememangnya aku tak pernah melupakan
( JA: )
Mengapa masih ada perasaan benci
( SS: )
Kerana cinta dan percaya luput dalam perasaan

( JA & SS: )
Marilah kasih
Kita saling sayang menyayang
Kalaulah ada benci
Kita sandarkan pada kenangan

( ulang 1, 2 & 3 )

( JA: )
Apa yang harus kita lakukan
( SS: )
Kita sandarkan pada kenangan
( JA: )
Mengapa masih ada perasaan benci
( SS: )
Kerana cinta dan percaya luput dalam perasaan

How to improve our English...

Assalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh...

How are you guys out there? I hope all of us are being blessed a good health by Allah. :-)
English, as we all know,  is a foreign language that had become an important language in our country. We as the second language users of this language surely will have problems in using, applying and understanding this language. From what I have read and gathered, there are few tips that will help us to comprehend better with this language.

1. Listen
In learning a language, we need to listen on how the words are pronounced, where is the stress on certain words and how the words are arranged in a complete sentence.

2.Watch
Watching the native speakers of this language communicate among themselves is also helpful. Hey, no need to go oversea to watch and listen to them. Just turn on your television and pick any English programs that you like. CSI, Leverage, House or maybe just cartoons like Sesame Street, like I did. To be honest, me myself watched a lot of English cartoon. BUT, no subtitle eh. If there is English subtitles, it is better. :-)

3. Read
Other than watch and listen, you must read. Just pick any English reading materials that you think suits you well. Don't shy to read primary school level English books as a start.I did this and it is quite helpful to increase your basic English construction sentence. :-) Reading also can increase your knowledge and your vocabularies.

4. Speak
Yeah, speaking in English. :-) We will always encounter a situation when we try to speak English, people will start looking at us as we are aliens from outer space or mocking us. My advice is, just ignore them.Practice make perfect. It's true and in learning a language, it is crucial to practice using it. It is okay to speak broken English as a start. :-)

5. Understand
Yes, understanding a sentence in English or a word in English is quite tough. Moreover when we encounter new words such as velcrum. That's why I mentioned above, we start from basic. Then slowly upgrade our level. First, we start with several new words that we found. List them and try to guess the meaning. Then only we can refer to the dictionary. Next, try to remember the words and familiarize with them.

I'm sorry if these tips are not working to you guys. Just sharing. :-)

River Monster..

Assalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh..

Spending most of the time at home, as expected, most of my time was spent to watch television..
One of the program i watched was titled, River Monster, hosted by Jeremy Wade. He is a biologist if I'm not mistaken and he is also an extreme angler. He travel around the world to search big fishes that their size  monster-like. I mean, huge and weird than normal. Let's swim around few pictures of these monsters.

1. Jeremy Wade holds a nearly 7-feet-long, 111-pound alligator gar with Mark Spitzer and guide Bubba Bedre.

2. Jeremy Wade with a 150-pound arapaima.

3. Jeremy Wade holds a five-foot bull shark captured in Australia's Brisbane River.

4. The freshwater sawfish has a long, blade-like snout called a rostrum. Lined with between 14 and 23 toothlike denticles, called rostral teeth, the rostrum is used primarily to catch prey.

5. Jeremy Wade with a goliath tigerfish, a giant-sized relative of the piranha and one of the hardest freshwater fish in the world to hook and land.

6. Jeremy Wade with a relatively small Kamba catfish. This fish is capable of growing to 5 feet and 300 pounds, or perhaps bigger.

7. Jeremy's catch rivals the largest short- tailed river stingrays ever recorded. This fish typically grows to 4.9 feet in diameter and over 450 pounds in weight.

8. Jeremy Wade with a white sturgeon, the largest and most primitive freshwater fish in North America. The biggest white sturgeon on record stretched more than 20 feet in length and weighed almost 1,800 pounds.

Politics..hmm

Assalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh..

Today, we Malaysian were shocked and stunned by what by some certain groups of people claiming that their gathering and marching is as an act of reforming our election process. I bet everybody knew this incident because of it had been a widespread news. I also bet have their own opinion  on this incident.
Just few advice from me. Malaysian citizen, please look back at our history, history of Tanah Melayu, learn and adapt it. Appreciate what we have achieved now which is the independence and peace. Then, don't make an any early assumption to what you hear, what you see and what you listen. Analyze and understand them first.
 I really not into this politics..hate them..(sigh)

To end my blabbering tonight, I enclosed with this video. Watch it and analyze it first. :-)

Who beats who? :-)
